Our Mission

Medina Food Group Ltd, a company which is housed on 20,000sq ft site which has been trading since 1999 is quickly becoming one of UK’s largest halal producers of authentic Asian, European & Afro Caribbean for the NHS.

Our aim is to satisfy all our customers with an extensive product range which are stringently tested under strict conditions by our UKAS accredited lab ensuring food safety at all times. We send food, water and environmental samples monthly to our accredited Food Chemistry Laboratory who conduct a full range of in-house microbiology testing.

With continuous on going improvements, Medina Food Group Ltd has achieved an ‘A’ Grade in BRC for over 9 years ensuring a pro-active HACCP system which is adhered to by putting our commitment into practice to achieve our end goals.

Our philosophy is based on creating trust by providing excellent service, quality management, people loyalty, freshness of ingredients, food traceability and strategic business partnerships.

Medina Foods Premises Third Party Accreditations are verified by; EHO visits three times a year, a thorough BRC audit conducted yearly over two days who ensure our safe systems are in place and Halal Certification conducted annually by the Halal Monitoring Board.

Our Aim

Our aim is to satisfy all our customers with an extensive product range that meets the nutritional standards set by the British Dietetic Association whilst also maintaining optimum flavour using the best quality spices and ingredients. All our products are stringently tested for microbiological bacteria by our UKAS accredited lab ensuring food safety at all times. We routinely send food, water and environmental samples to our accredited food laboratory who conduct a full range of in-house microbiology and chemical testing.

We aim to maintain the highest level of food safety accreditation at a grade ‘A’ certified by a Globally recognised Food Safety Initiative called BRCGS (Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards). With continuous on going improvements, Medina Food Group Ltd has achieved an ‘A’ Grade in BRCGS for the last 12 years by demonstrating compliance towards a robust Food Safety Management System which exceeds the minimum legal requirements.

Medina prides in providing fresh locally sourced ingredients with full traceability which ties in with our BRCGS standards and compliance to Food Law Regulation (EC) 178/2002. This results in the production of authentic fresh meals.

Medina Foods directors undertake responsibilities to ensure that quality management systems and processes are monitored and frequently reviewed to achieve the companies objectives set out and ensuring all staff know their duties including the need to produce safe, legal & quality end products.

Adhering to our Food Quality Policy, Environmental Policy & Ethical Trading Policy, you will be guaranteed a fully compliant & lasting partnership. Close circuit CCTV are installed within the facility to ensure extra vigilance, eliminating potential tampering of food.
