Accreditations and Certifications

BRCGS is a globally recognised food safety certification approved by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Medina Food Group Ltd are BRCGS certified at the highest level grade A and have maintained their grade A for the last twelve years via annual audits. Audits are a combination of announced and unannounced to reflect the true compliance towards food safety during an unplanned unannounced visit. The compliance towards this standard exceeds the minimum legal requirements of Food Safety which guarantees the food supplied from us is safe, fully traceable and at the highest quality.

Medina Food Group Ltd are approved by the Food Standards Agency with several unannounced visits throughout the year to ensure compliance towards the legal food safety and microbiology standards.

Medina Food Group Ltd have visits from West Yorkshire Trading Standards who check compliance towards product weights, scales, customer complaints, food labelling compliance and allergen declarations.

Medina Food Group Ltd are certified Halal by the Halal Monitoring Board. The site is strictly Halal and does not produce any ingredients which goes against the Halal requirements. More information can be found in our Halal Assurance Policy
